Currently, a lot of parents are on the internet searching for indoor/outdoor at-home fun things to do with their toddlers [including me!]. Especially entertaining things that keep them busy for more than 5 minutes!
So, I decided to put a post together of Grace’s absolute favorite, most used at-home toys the past 6 months. For reference, Grace is 22 months old. Most of the at-home activities + toys below would be great for toddlers anywhere from 1 1/2 years to 4 years old.
All of the items below are available on Amazon [so you don’t need to leave your house to shop!] + are budget-friendly. The only expensive at-home toys + activities item is #10 [but, I believe it’s worth it because it grows with your toddler for years!].
Scroll for some ideas + click the links to view the item. I include a brief description of why we love each toy below the image!

Why we love these!
1– Like most toddlers, Grace is obsessed with Minnie + Mickey Mouse. She plays with these large figurines for hours + hours every day. She is so imaginative with them + makes them talk to each other. It’s the cutest! She also has a Winnie the Pooh set.
2– Grace got this set for Christmas + it’s still a favorite! It comes with those little figurines + accessories [+ we bought her extra figurines]. She carries them all over the house with her + takes them in the bath at night. It even plays the theme song to the show!
3– We just recently ordered this mat + it’s totally worth the money. The best part is? There is zero mess because it’s all done with water + it folds up really small for easy storage. Great toy for indoors + outside on the patio.
4– These blocks are so well made + are perfect for toddlers because they’re large + easy for them to put together. She loves sorting them + making patterns. We have even thrown them in the tub with her as a little activity!
5– Tell me you had one of these, too, when you were young? I used to love this toy! That’s why we purchased it for Grace. Again, I love how it’s a no-mess activity. But, she feels like she is drawing on paper + making her own pictures.
6– This “mow mow” is another pastime favorite of mine. My little brother used to use his mower to pretend to mow the backyard all the time. Grace loves that you can add bubbles + that she can act like Daddy!
7+8– These have been amazing, especially on rainy days. We spread the paper across the kitchen table + tape it down on the ends. These crayons are great because they’re jumbo sized + easy for toddlers to hold while they color!
9– Chalk is suchhhh a crazy cheap way to keep a toddler busy on days they can run around on the driveway + sidewalk. Just make sure they don’t eat it! I always loved chalk as a kid, too.
10– This bike is great because Grace feels like a big girl while we push her around the block [even though she has no clue how to work the peddles]. This one is amazing because it grows with them + the handle comes off.
Below in the comments, let me know what at-home toddler toys + activities you recommend that keep them entertained!
