MEASURING + CUTTING STAPLES
Having simple tools like these are important because they will be used over + over as you prep your meals + snacks every week. These ones have great ratings + are easy to clean + store in your kitchen!
How cute is this white kitchen knife set??
A FOOD PROCESSOR
So many people I know don’t own or use a food processor. I seriously don’t get it! We use our food processor at least 2-3 times a week for quickly making muffin batter, snack bars, hummus, cauliflower mashed potatoes, etc. This is one of my staple kitchen items + I’ve used the same one for 6 years. Mine is a Hamilton Beach!
AN ELECTRIC GRIDDLE
I grew up with my mom using a griddle weekly to make us pancakes. But, it can be used for so much more! I use it to mass-make eggs, bacon, quesadillas, etc. Anything that can be made in a frying pan. Cuts time by 80% because you can make so many servings at once.
I have had a Presto for 4 years + love it! We use it weekly. Incredible quality.
MULTI-USE COOKERS
I la la loveeee my slow cooker (I have a Crockpot brand). In the fall + winter I use it to make many of my dinners because it can make a large amount at once with little prep but throwing it in the pot + leaving it. Instant pots + multi-use cookers are also great options to save time, too!
VEGETABLE TOOLS
I own both a spiralizer + veggie chopper. Spiralizers are great if you’re looking to cut back on pasta + make your own large batch out of low-calorie vegetables that can be reheated whenever. I recently got a veggie chopper + love it! It cuts back on chopping/dicing up lots of veggies for meals + is super easy to clean.
BAKING STAPLES
You need to have these staple baking items for making anything in large batches while meal prepping. I highly recommend choosing baking pans that can be thrown in the dishwasher for when they get messy. I also love these silicone items because they cut out needed any non-stick spray!
GLASS STORAGE CONTAINERS
You have to invest in good glass storage containers if you’re going to make meal prepping a weekly routine. They’re easy to stack, store, + see into so you know what you’re grabbing out of your fridge. The most important part about glass is that they are dishwasher + microwavable safe + never leak!
