I was confused about what to eat + couldn't stick to a workout routine. But, the worst part? I had low energy + felt overwhelmed all the time.
It took 10+ years of researching + trying so many different strategies to create the healthy lifestyle I have now.

I needed to be on a strict diet + workout like a nut for an hour a day in order to be in shape + maintain the weight I wanted.
I would sometimes go weeks in a row working out + then take months off. The motivation would just come + go.
When I did make it to the gym, I would focus so heavily on cardio + doing crunches. Because... that's how you get real results + "burn fat"... right?
When it came to eating, I tried tracking my macros, counting calories, eating "clean," + not eating after a certain time.
Yes, I would see results. But, it was so time consuming + not enjoyable.
I'd go to the food store with absolutely no plan + was so confused about what was really a "healthy" choice + what was not.
Even though I felt like I was doing an OK job working out + eating healthy, I realized that my energy levels were often low.
When life happened + things got busy, healthy eating + working out would have to be put on the back burner.
