Now that I am 7 months through my second pregnancy, I think it’s time to share all the love when it comes to my absolute favorite pregnancy essentials! These are my top must-have items that I consider to be life savors for all 3 trimesters
It can be overwhelming with the millions of maternity products out there, especially if it’s your first pregnancy. There are many many many things that are gimmicky or just straight-up unnecessary to buy [but companies will make you feel like you just haveeee to have it to survive those 9+ months].
Really, you don’t need a whole lot to get through it when it comes to products, unless you have a medical condition or extenuating circumstance. That’s why I wanted to share this list! These are 10/10 in quality + I would recommend this to my absolute best friends during their first pregnancy.

I used gummy prenatal vitamins during my first pregnancy + I honestly regret it. Before I was educated about food coloring, I didn’t realize how many artificial colors [+ sugars] were in the ones I was buying. These are all organic with natural coloring. Plus, they never made me nauseous like the gummies did — even during my 1st trimester!
Seriously, don’t buy any other book. I read 5+ baby books — all the classics — + this one blew them all of them out of the park, combined. I love how it includes smart advice backed by multiple doctors + focuses on the health of both the baby + the mama. She includes information on healthy eating, fitness, mindset, + everything clean/organic you need to know for your pregnancy, birth, + recovery.
During this second pregnancy, I had suchhhhh bad acid reflux + never had it at all before. It was torture during my second trimester. I would have such trouble eating anything after 3pm because I would just feel a burning sensation in my chest. A sweet follower told me to drink almond milk + take ACV pills + IT WORKED WONDERS! *Talk to your doctor before doing this. Just sharing what worked for me!
Wow, these helped me drink water throughout my entire pregnancy! I was dying during my first trimester when it came to drinking water this time around + my friend shared these with me. I love them so much! They’re not only really tasty, but low calorie + refreshing. I just wish they were organic! But, it’s totally worth it to me. I have bought countless packs + it’s worth every penny.
My husband got me a pillow like this for Christmas my first pregnancy + it’s been a life saver. By month 5 during both pregnancies I was so uncomfortable because all I ever want to do is sleep on my back + stomach. This type of pillow helped me lay on my left side + get comfortable so I could get a much better sleep.
I really don’t like tea. But, during my first trimesters I always had trouble drinking water + hated even the smell of coffee. I drank this tea cold + hot + really enjoyed it! It’s another tip I used to stay hydrated. I pretty much only drank it the first trimester, but went through a lot of it.
Anyone else get melasma? I have gotten it all over my face both pregnancies just like my mom did during hers. Every night I put this on before bed + I definitely notice that it calms the severity of it + smooths out my skin. In general, I recommend this as part of your skin routine even when you’re not pregnant! You can even use it on your belly to help prevent stretch marks or to cure them.
I swear by cocoa butter to ward off stretch marks on both your belly + legs. I rub this on my belly every night before bed + I didn’t get any stretch marks during my first pregnancy. Hoping it works for this one, too! I use this on my entire body, also + pair it with my self-tanning routine.
