It’s cold + flu season! Does anyone else have a terrible immune system like me? Grace just started Preschool + day 3 she already brought home a cold. I decided I need to do something to try to ward off getting every sickness she brings in this house.
So, I did a little research + came up with this immunity-boosting drink recipe. What I did was, I combined what I wanted from 2 different recipes I found: this one + this one. I didn’t want 20 ingredients in this drink because then I would absolutely not drink it regularly because it would be way too much prep. So, I chose ingredients we had + left out things that I know I wouldn’t want to drink.
All of the ingredients in both recipes have great immunity-boosting benefits. That’s why I was OK with picking + choosing when making this recipe. Some is better than none at all!
Ok… so how much/often am I planning on drinking this? I plan to make a habit of having one regular sized glass of it a day + 2-3 big glasses when someone in the house gets sick.
To be honest, while making this the first time my husband + I both thought it was going to be absolutely disgusting. But… it’s actually delicious!
BONUS: Totally wasn’t expecting this — but, my 2 year old actually likes it!
